Welcome one and all to the Psychonauts MSN role playing community! We are an RP community that takes place entirely over MSN. While we here in the club fill the role of your favorite characters via MSN messenger, you can add them to your IM of choice and interact with them! Or you can join the club and interact with your fellow club members as your character! It's great fun~

Unlike most MSN groups here on dA, this does not take place over MSN unless you want it to. It's very flexible so feel free to have fun with it~

[08/10/09]> Something occurred to me. A lot of people have expressed interest in joining this club, but are not sure how active they would be able to be. I think this is partly due to the fact that they have their own MSN account and would rather be logged onto that and talking to their friends. Well there are ways that you can log into more than one MSN account on the same computer~ More info lower down on this post.

How to Apply

Step 1: Send a note to this club telling us which character you want to apply for.
Step 2: Make sure to include your time zone and whether you wish to remain anonymous or not.
Step 3: Add a brief monologue (or even throw another character in there as if it were a conversation if you want) showing how you RP this character.
Step 4: Wait for us to reply to your note with the okay.
Step 5: Make an email, send it to us, and start RPing~

Rules

1. Remain in character. If you want to go OOC then you are welcome to, but type it in brackets and keep it to minimum.
2. Please don't start fights with fellow RPers, this is a friendly community and I don't want to have to get the hose out.
3. BE ACTIVE.
4. Unless your character is insane then you are not allowed to break the 4th wall. Meaning your character cannot acknowledge the fact that they are a fictional video game character.
5. Don't kill anyone in the role play. Injuring is alright so long as the other RPer okays it.
6. Mental dwellers can only exist in MENTAL WORLDS, they cannot enter the real world. But they can enter other mental worlds and the collective unconscious.
7. People without psychic powers may also enter the collective unconscious, but cannot enter other mental worlds except for there own.
8. Don't feed the lungfish.
9. Don't litter.
10. Burgers will be ready in a couple of weeks.

Other stuff

>Bored with your character? REALLY want to switch? Note us and we'd be happy to let you switch characters! But you must have role played as that character for at least 2 months before switching!

>Group conversations will not start until we have more members.

Windows Users
If you don't already have it, update your MSN Messenger to Messenger Plus!. After this, open messenger and click on the "Plus!" tab, go to "preferences and options", click on the "Customize!" tab, then tick the box that says "Allow me to connect to several accounts simultaneously". Then badda bing, badda boom you're done. Open another MSN Messenger and log in to a different account.
Mac users
Mac users can't use Messenger Plus! So all you have to do is download another messenger service called "Adium" ([link]). Log into your normal MSN account via Messenger, and your RP account via Adium.
Linux users
Use aMSN ([link])
